Welcome to the Feta Recipes DMCA Policy page. Feta Recipes respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This policy outlines the procedures for reporting alleged copyright infringement and for submitting counter-notifications in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA.

Filing a DMCA Notice of Infringement

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on Feta Recipes, please notify our designated Copyright Agent. For your complaint to be valid under the DMCA, you must provide the following information in writing:

  1. An electronic or physical signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and where it is located on Feta Recipes (e.g., a specific URL to the recipe or image).
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit Feta Recipes to contact you, such as your address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Failure to include all of the above information may result in a delay or inability to process your DMCA notice.

Filing a DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content that was removed (or to which access was disabled) is not infringing, or that you have the authorization from the copyright owner, the copyright owner's agent, or pursuant to the law, to post and use the material, you may send a counter-notification to our Copyright Agent containing the following information:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or a misidentification of the material.
  • Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district where your address is located (or if you are outside the United States, that you consent to the jurisdiction of any judicial district in which Feta Recipes may be found), and a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification of the alleged infringement.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, Feta Recipes may restore the removed content within 10-14 business days unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order to restrain the user from engaging in infringing activity.
